Cloud Carib, a leading cloud provider in the Caribbean, concludes a dynamic Cybersecurity Awareness Month with a series of impactful community initiatives and the rollout of a new security training service designed to bolster cybersecurity awareness across The Bahamas.
Recognizing the importance of collective responsibility in cybersecurity, Cloud Carib spearheaded several key initiatives throughout October including:
- Engaging Community Leaders: Cloud Carib facilitated insightful sessions on AI and cybersecurity with the Rotary Club of Southeast Nassau and faculty and staff at D.W. Davis High School and the Eugene Dupuch Law School, fostering dialogue and awareness among key influencers.
- Strengthening National Cybersecurity: Cloud Carib’s Mark Arruda
- was a keynote speaker at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and CIRT-BS Cybersecurity Awareness Month Webinar, sharing insights on cyber resilience with government, private businesses, and industry leaders.
- Building Cyber-Resilient Organizations: Sean Munroe, Director of Network Engineering at Cloud Carib, delivered a compelling presentation at the Central Bank of The Bahamas Technical Exposition, emphasizing the importance of organizational preparedness for cyberattacks.
- Bridging the Digital Divide: Cloud Carib donated laptops to the Women’s Ward at Her Majesty’s Prison Fox Hill, promoting digital literacy and supporting rehabilitation efforts.

In addition to its community engagement, Cloud Carib launched its Security Awareness Training Managed Service, powered by Arctic Wolf, a global leader in security
operations. This new service is designed to transform employees into “human firewalls.” Through interactive training modules, phishing simulations, and in-depth reporting, businesses can effectively equip their workforce to identify and mitigate cyber threats.
