Cloud Carib, a Nassau-based IT firm partnered with PACE (Providing Access to Continued Education) School for Teen Mothers this holiday season to host a heartwarming event filled with mentorship, inspiration, and generosity. The event, hosted at the Andrea E Archer Institute, aimed to uplift and empower young mothers while providing much-needed resources to support their journeys.
Earlier this year, Cloud Carib collaborated with PACE through the Blockchain Business School and Microsoft, teaching young mothers how to code and equipping them with technical skills to build brighter futures. Building on this foundation, Cloud Carib returned this December to deepen its support, ensuring these young women continue to feel empowered and encouraged.
Motivational speakers Kerel Pinder and Keishelle Davis (a past teen mother herself) delivered powerful messages about living up to their potential, not letting their past define their future, and seeking out mentors who can provide guidance and “sow seeds” of success in their lives. These talks left a lasting impression, reminding the mothers that they hold the power to create the future they want.
In addition to mentorship, the event was filled with the holiday spirit, including a cozy hot cocoa station and holiday treats. As part of Cloud Carib’s commitment to supporting these women as they prepare for their futures, the company cases of diapers and a collection of business wear, providing them with essential baby supplies and professional attire as they prepare to enter the workforce and take on the responsibility of providing for their children.
Patrice Miller, Principal of PACE School, expressed her gratitude stating “Cloud Carib has been an invaluable partner to PACE, and we are grateful for their generosity and support. Events like this remind us of the power of community and how much can be accomplished when we work together.”
“Giving back is a core value for Cloud Carib,” said M’khel Ferguson, Marketing Operations Manager at Cloud Carib. “We are honored to support PACE and to be a part of these young mothers’ journeys, whether through skills training, mentorship, or providing resources that make a difference in their daily lives. This event is a reminder that small gestures of kindness and support can spark great change.”
Cloud Carib’s efforts reflect its ongoing commitment to fostering growth and positivity within the communities it serves, making a difference through technology and meaningful human connections.
